Looks like it is going over Highway 7 before you make that big swooping curve to Lake Hamilton.

I can walk to lake hamilton from where i am. I was on ar weather watchers when they literally said its coming over lake ham. I was pretty scared. The Belle of Hot Spprings came loose and is floating around. On the other side of town out past the mall i hear it is very bad. It skipped downtown proper then touched down futher down central over toward the mall, also by garvin woodlands. I was inside my closet.
The bad news is we are supposed to have a worse scenrio tonight. ARG! We are all sleepless from last night

Other side of town where Garvin Woodland Botanical Gardens are got torn up ... Neighbors said you can see clear across the botanical gardens now, as all the trees surrounding it came down. NOAA says it was an EF2. (Way out past the Mall and car dealerships from what I understand, if you are familiar with the area.). Hot Springs, Garland County. Amity, etc.
Prepping for Round 2... goes to about 3am and watches are already up via NOAA for so many counties all across ARKANSAS.
But.......Looking forward to the beautiful weather we are supposed to have for rest of the week though!

Tried to upload a 46 second clip from the tornado here last night but was unable too. Friend took it from a neighborhood 7 miles away, in 46 seconds 4 large trees came down.
a couple of minutes later it touched down 1-2 miles from our house.

A "cap" kept an outbreak from happening in cental ar, so things were totally okay way before midnight. I felt sorry for those in AL , TN, and KY where it went to next though. And MI. This stuff happens everywhere though, if you are a weather events fan, this one below was a great video. (I saw it way before any of the news stations saw it, when the homeowner posted it on his page and then all the news orgs. started asking his permisdion to carry it) This is exactly what straight winds look like though. I was in a restaurant once watching tall metal light poles at a car dealership across the street literally bending over in the lot once when i got caught in a freak storm with 70+ MPH winds. Before cell phones. Watched stuff like this on my own property during the some straight wind events, whole lines of trees just keeling over in my woods: x.com/GR2AA2AZOGoBlue/status/1788055579396620784

^^^ this was in Portage, MI. This was the orig. source, I saw it on his personal X account before all the news stations started asking for permission to use it.

That's the clip I had tried unsuccessfully to post. Chris is a friend of a good friend of mine.. That location is about 7 miles west of me. The tornado moved east from there on a line about 1.5 miles north of me. Scary stuff for sure. Winds of 125-135mph.
