Hannon being aggressive running Star Style in the 1000. What do you think TW?

R1-
#4- Kalpana (even) couldn't have been more impressive on turf debut over C&D two weeks ago, winning by ten. Using a few longer priced AW winners underneath to hopefully improve the price in exactas.

Hannon being aggressive running Star Style in the 1000. What do you think TW? Definitely pitching her into the deep end, but he doesn't tilt at windmills. Not familiar with the owner, if it's their call or not. This seems a better than avg group on paper, probably overly ambitious with just the one start. Maybe he's making a 'pace' play having seen how favorable early position has been over the course. This race is like a delicious buffet where every time you think you have enough good stuff on your plate, you get to the next station and say "oh, gonna need a bigger boat!" Still sorting through my top seven. TW

Thanks TW. This race is a great puzzle. Used 2,6 in first. Gosden helps me forget yesterday.

R3-
Liking #5- Kihavah (13-1) at the price, given the weight he's getting. Progressive in handicaps last season, will use as an exacta key.

Pretty sure that if I had boxed all my underneath horses separately over the last year, I'd be way ahead . TW

1000 Guineas-
#5- Fallen Angel (9-2) was very progressive last year, wants good ground, Burke says she's his best ever and is very confident. Using Ramatuelle (6-1) as well on top of exactas, only ever finished behind Vandeek and Beauvatier, good enough for me. Heart is backing #6- Porta Fortuna (11-1) for Steve Weston.
Big WIN- 5 EX- 5,8/1,5,6,8,11,12

Never gave the winner much of a look. Elmalka (37-1) is a half-sister to Benbatl, FWIW. I was hollering for Porta Fortuna, she just couldn't hang on at the wire. Neighbors have cops on speed dial, probably already on the way, as I yelled repeatedly "Who the f*** is Elmalka?!" . TW
